Position Summary SPSCS is seeking a Cantonese-Speaking Medicaid Field Representative to assist Cantonese-speaking families with Medicaid applications. Your primary responsibility will be conducting in-person appointments, explaining the Medicaid application process in Cantonese or English, collecting required documents and signatures, and submitting accurate appointment updates to our office. The Cantonese-Speaking Medicaid Field Representative will travel primarily throughout Upper and Lower Manhattan, with additional appointments in the Bronx and Queens. Key Responsibilities Conduct in-person Medicaid application appointments at clients' homes or agreed-upon locations Explain Medicaid application requirements and next steps in Cantonese or English Collect required documents, information, and signatures during appointments Review collected materials for completeness before leaving each appointment Scan and upload documents promptly after client meetings Follow up with clients regarding missing Medicaid application documents Provide the office with accurate appointment notes and application status updates Maintain client confidentiality and represent SPSCS professionally during every visit Required Qualifications Fluency in Cantonese and English Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license Current residence in Manhattan or the Bronx Availability to travel to multiple client appointments each workday Ability to use email, Microsoft Outlook, and basic document-uploading tools Availability Monday through Friday, approximately 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Preferred Experience Previous experience with Medicaid applications, home care, healthcare enrollment, benefits assistance, or field-based client services is preferred but not required.
