12 months with potential extension Position Overview Our client is seeking a Managed Care Specialist for a hybrid position in downtown Nashville. The ideal candidate will have strong case management, research, documentation, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines. Candidates must be local to Middle Tennessee and able to commute to the Nashville office as needed. Key Responsibilities Determine individual and family eligibility for care programs. Coordinate and communicate schedules with internal and external clients. Conduct client interviews, gather information, and compile case data for attorney recommendations. Manage casework efficiently, including documentation, follow-up, and resolution. Conduct legal research, analyze legal documents, and assist with drafting legal documents. Accurately document research findings, case information, and recommendations. Navigate multiple databases to research and retrieve information. Attend workgroup meetings and actively participate in discussions. Provide administrative and operational support to leadership as needed. Required Qualifications & Skills Associate or bachelor's degree required. Paralegal studies or related education preferred. Legal environment experience preferred. Customer service or call center experience preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and SharePoint . Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent time management and organizational abilities. Ability to prioritize multiple assignments and meet deadlines with minimal supervision. Strong attention to detail and accurate documentation skills. Effective note-taking, email management, and information distribution skills. Strong critical thinking, research, and problem-solving abilities. Hybrid Work & Training Requirements Hybrid position requiring a combination of remote and onsite work based on department and team needs. Extensive training may last up to six weeks and may be conducted virtually and/or onsite. Contractors are required to attend all scheduled training sessions. No preplanned PTO will be approved during training weeks. Candidates must be available to work the assigned Monday-Friday schedule.
Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 37.5 per week
