Job Description

SENSIS Who We Are:

We opened our doors in 1998 (as Focus Multimedia). We got our start building websites and have expanded into a full-service advertising agency, helping our clients take advantage of the fundamental changes taking place in the marketing world - the emergence of digital technologies, expanded multiculturalism, and the transformative impact of social media.
What We Are Looking For:
We're seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Field Researcher to support an upcoming research project. This role is ideal for someone interested in outreach, user research, or community-based research, and who thrives in a flexible, collaborative environment.
What You'll Be Doing:
Attend in person training (w.o. 9/28) Conduct in-person interviews or intercept surveys at assigned locations (e.g., clinics, transit stations, community centers, events). Approach and screen participants based on target criteria (age, demographics, behavior, etc.). Collect accurate data using digital tablets Ensure data integrity and confidentiality per project protocols and privacy standards. Report daily progress (number of completes, location updates, and issues encountered).
What You'll Bring Along:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (comfortable approaching strangers). Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred or required depending on target audience. Strong attention to detail when recording responses or managing materials. Comfort using tablets or smartphones for digital data collection. Previous fieldwork, canvassing, or customer service experience is a plus.
Job Demands:
Must be available for flexible hours, including weekends or evenings depending on project needs. Reliable transportation to and from field locations. Ability to stand or walk for extended periods (sometimes outdoors). Professional appearance and demeanor representing the organization in public spaces.

Part time: 20-25 hours per week Employment duration: September 28 - November 2
