Job Summary A direct hire opportunity is available for an experienced Legal Secretary in Fresno, CA, supporting an attorney focused on commercial real estate development, ownership, operations, leasing, and property management. This role is ideal for a polished, highly organized legal professional with strong commercial real estate transaction experience and the ability to manage sensitive information with discretion. The Legal Secretary will work in a professional, fast-paced legal services environment where accuracy, confidentiality, responsiveness, and strong follow-through are essential. This position offers the opportunity to support complex commercial real estate matters involving retail and office properties, leases, purchase and sale agreements, ground leases, amendments, and development-related documentation. - Provide comprehensive administrative and legal support to an attorney handling commercial real estate development, leasing, ownership, and property management matters.
- Prepare, revise, proofread, and organize legal documents, including commercial leases, ground leases, purchase and sale agreements, amendments, assignments, estoppels, and related correspondence.
- Coordinate real estate transactions from contract through closing, including tracking deadlines, critical dates, signatures, and required documentation.
- Maintain confidential physical and electronic legal files with strong attention to organization, accuracy, and document control.
- Communicate professionally with tenants, brokers, lenders, title companies, attorneys, internal management, and other business contacts.
- Manage calendars, schedule meetings, coordinate closings, handle correspondence, and provide general administrative support for legal and real estate operations. Compensation and Benefits

- Coordinate real estate transactions by managing documents, deadlines, signatures, closing requirements, and communication with outside parties.
- Prepare, proofread, revise, and organize commercial real estate agreements, correspondence, and legal documentation.
- Maintain organized legal files and protect confidential information with accuracy and discretion.
- 3 to 5 years of legal secretary, legal assistant, or related legal administrative experience.
- Commercial real estate transaction experience is strongly preferred, including familiarity with leases, purchase and sale agreements, ground leases, amendments, assignments, and closing documentation.
- Strong proofreading, document formatting, calendar management, and deadline-tracking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with attorneys, clients, brokers, lenders, title companies, tenants, and internal teams.
- High level of organization, attention to detail, confidentiality, and follow-through.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced legal environment while managing multiple priorities accurately and professionally. Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting attorneys in commercial real estate development, retail property, office property, leasing, or property management matters.
- Familiarity with title, escrow, lender, broker, and closing processes related to commercial real estate transactions.
- Experience maintaining legal files and transaction checklists in both physical and electronic formats.
