Core Responsibilities:
Answering phones Processing mail, including scanning and labeling Maintaining attorney calendar and ensuring all statutory deadlines are met Proactively follow up on outstanding records and reports Schedule medical appointments and notify clients Draft correspondence and legal documents Organize records and create schedule of records Communicate with clients, physician offices, adjusters and outside counsel as requested Communicate with clients to direct and gather information about their legal issues ________________________________________ Responsibilities Draft legal correspondence, requests for supplemental information to doctors, pleadings, and other litigation documents Assist with consistent communication with clients, attorneys, and medical providers Track and manage deadlines and ensure compliance with rules and procedures Manage tasks with minimal supervision Experience 2-3 years of California legal experience. Experience in workers' compensation or personal injury law is a plus. Must be bilingual in Spanish Excellent legal writing and document drafting skills Demonstrates strong communication abilities Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks simultaneously Highly organized with strong time management and deadline tracking skills Self-driven, detail-oriented, and able to follow up effectively with minimal oversight Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Preferred Skills Experience answering phones and communicating with clients Proficiency in Clio, typing, and drafting correspondence Strong writing skills Ability to effectively manage a high volume of tasks Strong advocacy and communication skills Key Traits Self-starter with strong initiative Professional and dependable Detail-oriented and highly organized Able to thrive in a fast-paced legal environment ________________________________________
Compensation & Growth:
Hourly Rate:
$22 to $28, depending on experience Full-time, in-office position.
