About the Company We are a busy, client-focused personal injury law firm committed to providing high-quality legal services with professionalism, efficiency, and attention to detail. We are seeking a Paralegal & Legal Secretary to support our attorneys with case management, legal document preparation, discovery, client communication, scheduling, and day-to-day administrative responsibilities. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced personal injury or civil litigation environment. Key ResponsibilitiesParalegal Responsibilities Draft and respond to discovery , including propounding and responding to discovery. Draft, review, and prepare legal documents, correspondence, pleadings, and filings. Review defendant discovery responses and prepare detailed discovery summaries. Prepare deposition binders and supporting materials for attorneys. Draft initial trial and FSC (Mandatory Settlement Conference) documents. Assist attorneys with trial preparation and case preparation as needed. Conduct legal research and gather supporting case materials. Track case deadlines and ensure discovery and other litigation deadlines are met. Organize and maintain accurate client and case files. Communicate with clients, attorneys, courts, opposing counsel, and other parties as needed. Assist attorneys with case management and litigation support. Legal Secretary / Administrative Responsibilities Prepare and format correspondence, legal documents, and other materials. Manage attorney calendars, appointments, meetings, and deadlines. Assist with scheduling depositions, hearings, meetings, and other case-related events. Maintain organized electronic and physical case files. Assist with filing and service of legal documents. Handle routine client and office communications professionally. Enter and update case information in legal case management systems. Provide general administrative and clerical support to attorneys and the legal team. Assist with other administrative duties as needed. Required Qualifications Paralegal Certificate preferred. 2-3+ years of experience drafting discovery in a personal injury or civil litigation law firm. Strong knowledge of personal injury litigation procedures and documentation. Experience with discovery drafting, responses, summaries, and case preparation. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to manage multiple cases, deadlines, and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with legal document preparation and case management software. Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with attorneys and other team members. Professional and courteous communication skills with clients and legal professionals. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a personal injury law firm . Experience supporting attorneys through litigation, deposition, settlement, and trial preparation. Pay:
