We are looking for an experienced Legal Secretary to join a busy insurance defense law office in Boca Raton, Florida. This contract-to-permanent opportunity is ideal for someone who thrives in a fully in-office setting and can quickly take ownership of day-to-day legal support duties with minimal direction. The role requires strong administrative judgment, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to keep attorneys organized in a fast-paced practice.
Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and transcribe attorney dictation accurately and efficiently, producing high-quality legal correspondence and case-related documents.
  • Coordinate calendars for attorneys and arrange key events such as depositions, hearings, client meetings, and other scheduled appointments.
  • Manage electronic court submissions and support filing activities to help maintain compliance with procedural deadlines.
  • Serve as a reliable point of contact for clients by handling communications clearly, promptly, and courteously.
  • Enter attorney time and related billing information into legal billing systems with a high level of accuracy.
  • Answer and route incoming calls while assisting with general office and administrative support tasks tied to legal matters.
  • Maintain organized case records and assist with routine legal secretarial work to keep matters moving forward without delay.
