Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Landuse/Development and Litigation Secretary to join our dynamic legal team. This pivotal role involves providing comprehensive administrative support for land use, development projects, and litigation matters, ensuring smooth operations and efficient case management. The ideal candidate will possess a strong exceptional organizational skills and a proactive attitude. Responsibilities Manage and organize legal documents, case files, and correspondence using document management systems such as LEAP Land-use applications and development matters Municipal approvals Preparation and organization of applications and supporting documents NJ court filing and litigation Pleadings, motions and discovery Maintaining litigation calendars and deadlines Communication with clients, municipalities, opposing counsel and experts Document management Microsoft Word/Outlook/Excel Legal case-management software Qualifications Proven experience as a legal secretary or paralegal supporting litigation or land use/development cases Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; adept at client communication and phone etiquette Competency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for drafting documents and managing schedules Ability to handle confidential information discreetly while maintaining high standards of accuracy Experience supporting legal administrative functions such as filing, research, document review, and procedural compliance. Pay:
$57,066.24 - $67,000.00 per year
