We are seeking a detail-oriented, organized individual to support two civil litigation attorneys in personal injury, wrongful termination, and medical malpractice matters. The role requires exceptional multitasking ability, strong time management skills, and the capacity to independently manage a diverse caseload. As the firm is completely digital and leverages technology in several aspects, a strong proficiency with computers is strictly required. The best candidates will also have previous experience working in civil litigation and in billing their time.
Responsibilities:
Draft pleadings and correspondence Preparing answers to interrogatories and other discovery Manage attorney calendars Answer and direct phone calls Act as a point of contact for clients Perform administrative office tasks Assist clients in drafting answers to discovery requests Transcribe dictation and format documents Keep meticulous track of deadlines
Qualifications:
High school diploma, relevant work experience, and/or Associates Degree in Paralegal Studies from an ABA approved program Bachelor's degree in a related field Excellent communication and organizational skills Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and Clio or other similar attorney accounting software.
