Description:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Clerk to support our Delinquent Accounts Department. Despite the title, prior legal experience is not required . This role is ideal for someone with strong administrative skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to research information, manage documentation, and communicate professionally with customers and internal teams. WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a Legal Clerk , you will play a key role in researching account information, maintaining records, processing documentation, and supporting various account-related activities. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Manage inquiries related to delinquent and legal accounts via phone, email, and fax Research, update, and maintain accounts involving bankruptcy, liens, and legal actions Prepare and file legal documents with courts and government offices Monitor legal processes (e.g., sheriff sales, complaints) and ensure accurate recordkeeping Respond to account issues, complaints, and perform routine account maintenance Travel to and attend magistrate hearings on behalf of the company
DETAILS + WORK ENVIRONMENT
Full-time schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
Location:
On-site in our Bangor, PA office Initial training: ~4-6 months fully in office
Flexibility:
After initial training, this role transitions to a hybrid schedule, with at least 2-3 days in the office each week and up to 5 days, depending on workload.

Requirements:
Legal experience is not required. We are happy to train the right candidate. Experience working in an administrative, collections, customer service, government, financial services, or office support environment. Experience maintaining detailed records and documentation. High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and 1 - 2 years of related experience and/or training; or Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license & clean driving record Strong attention to detail with high levels of accuracy Proficiency with computers and the ability to learn new systems Situation analysis and problem-solving skills Why This Role?
