Duties Manage and organize legal documents using document management systems; review and draft legal documents with precision and attention to detail Conduct legal research utilizing LexisNexis, Westlaw, and other research tools to support case development across diverse practice areas including civil litigation, securities law, tribal regulations, patent law, and workers' compensation law Assist attorneys with case preparation by gathering evidence, reviewing files, and summarizing depositions or court records Coordinate client interviews and maintain effective communication to gather necessary information for case progression Prepare pleadings, discovery requests, subpoenas, and other legal correspondence with accuracy and professionalism Support project management efforts by tracking deadlines, court dates, and filing schedules to ensure compliance with procedural laws Handle confidential information with integrity while maintaining meticulous records of case files and correspondence Provide executive administrative support including scheduling appointments, managing calendars, answering phones with professional etiquette, and organizing meetings Utilize Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) for document creation and data entry; proofread all materials for clarity and correctness Qualifications Proven experience as a paralegal or legal secretary with familiarity in multiple practice areas with an emphasis on in personal injury cases Strong knowledge of procedural laws across civil litigation and general & commercial litigation environments Proficiency in legal research tools including LexisNexis and Westlaw; experience with PCLaw or similar case management software is a plus Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced setting Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to draft clear legal documents and communicate effectively with clients and attorneys Skilled in handling confidential information discreetly while maintaining meticulous records Familiarity with document review processes systems; experience supporting litigation cases from inception through resolution Knowledge of workers' compensation processes, personal injury claims Strong research skills coupled with attention to detail; ability to analyze complex legal issues quickly Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) along with legal research platforms such as Westlaw or LexisNexis is essential Join our team where your expertise will make a meaningful impact!
