Job Description
Tromberg, Miller, Morris and Partners PLLC is a top-rated law firm focused on integrity, professionalism and providing the highest quality legal services in the mortgage default industry. The Plano, TX location is seeking a full-time, detail-oriented and proactive Litigation Assistant to assist the attorneys with a variety of tasks. This role requires excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys with the preparation of correspondences, form pleadings, basic motions and notices for attorney's review.
- Manage and track all incoming mail and correspondence and notify the clients of the same.
- Calendar deadlines, schedule hearings and mediations.
- Request hourly fee approval from clients.
- Prepare trial packages.
- Coordinate with judges, opposing counsel, clients and other legal positions in case. Input and maintain case information in our case management system and client systems to reflect detailed and up-to-date statuses.
- Communicate professionally with clients, attorneys, vendors, court representatives and case parties to provide updates and gather necessary information. Desired skills and experience :
- Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Apps such as Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams.
- Foreclosure law or any civil law office experience preferred, but not required.
- Ability to communicate positively, clearly, professionally, and personably in both written and verbal communication channels.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
