Duties Manage and organize legal documents using document management systems such as iManage and Westlaw; ensure accuracy in filing, data entry, and document review processes Conduct legal research utilizing LexisNexis, Westlaw, and other research tools to support case development across civil litigation, general & commercial litigation, personal injury law, workers' compensation law, and procedural law Draft and proofread legal documents including pleadings, correspondence, discovery requests, contracts, and client communications with precision and clarity Assist attorneys with case management tasks such as scheduling depositions, court filings, and tracking deadlines in compliance with procedural requirements Provide exceptional client service by handling phone inquiries professionally, coordinating interviews or meetings, and maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information Support project management initiatives within the firm's legal practice areas by organizing files, preparing reports, and ensuring timely completion of tasks Collaborate with team members on research projects related to estate planning, tribal law & regulations, landlord-tenant issues, patent law, securities law, and other specialized fields Experience Preferred but not required. Preference given to those with proven paralegal or legal support experience in a busy law office environment with exposure to multiple practice areas including civil litigation and specialized fields such as estate planning or environmental law Strong familiarity with legal research tools like LexisNexis and Westlaw; experience with legal case management software such as PCLaw is highly desirable Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information discreetly while maintaining high standards of accuracy in document review and proofreading Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced setting Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), Word processing tools, and document management systems like iManage; familiarity with legal writing and drafting standards is essential Knowledge of procedural laws across various jurisdictions; experience supporting litigation processes including civil litigation support is preferred Strong communication skills for client interaction via phone or email; ability to interview clients or witnesses professionally is a plus Join us if you're ready to bring your legal administrative expertise to a forward-thinking firm that values dedication, precision, and proactive support.
