Job Description

Opportunity Knocks Today! The office of Suzanne E Wade, Chapter 13 Trustee is currently seeking to hire two professionals for new Case Administrators. While the positions are similar, the emphasis for each is somewhat different, requiring a unique skillset. Case Admin I is a strong generalist with keen administrative skills. Case Admin II will have a generalist background coupled with some financial, banking, accounting or bookkeeping skills as noted below. The successful candidates will have 3+ years working in a business office environment providing support to a team. You must be highly organized, detail oriented and able to prioritize tasks. The primary function of this role is to provide administrative support with all levels of internal and external groups including debtors, creditors, attorneys, paralegals and the Bankruptcy Court. This position performs all duties to adhere to financial compliance, and exercises discretion with highly confidential and sensitive information. Good judgment is required to make independent decisions on matters that affect debtors and creditors. Job Responsibilities

  • Handle inquiries from debtors, creditors and attorneys via telephone, e-mail, fax and written correspondence
  • Perform data entry tasks, accurately inputting information into databases or spreadsheets
  • Aptitude to learn and adapt to unique software
  • Conduct research on various topics as assigned
  • Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a professional and courteous manner
  • Assist with legal case management, including organizing case files and preparing necessary documents
  • Support project management efforts by coordinating schedules, preparing materials, and tracking progress
  • Draft pleadings for Trustee's review and file with the Court
  • Reliability and dependability are required
  • Other duties as required
CASE ADMIN II
only:
  • Perform financial analysis using bank statements, reports, case information
  • Understand the principles of bookkeeping, accounting, fees, check processing, EFT process
  • Reconciliation and logical thinking experience Required Skills

  • Professionalism, excellent verbal and written communication skills required
  • Strong document review and proofreading abilities
  • Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
  • Proficient in data entry with high accuracy and speed
  • Ability to conduct research using various resources
  • Professional phone etiquette with strong communication skills
  • Familiarity with Chapter 13 Bankruptcy is a plus

If interested in the Case Admin II role: what is your experience in finance, accounting, bookkeeping etc. What specifically did you do in this role? These positions are 100% in office roles. They are FT but offer flexibility in schedule. Are you able to be on site daily? What software programs are you familiar with? How would you rank your skills with Microsoft Office? Excel? Word? Outlook? Provide an example where you had to be very detailed oriented, organized, logical in your thinking and where you may have had to research information to obtain a solution to a problem?
