• PPO & Denti-Cal PhD Dental Group
• East Los Angeles, CA PhD Dental Group is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Dental Biller to join our team in East Los Angeles.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of PPO and Denti-Cal billing, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced dental office.

Key Responsibilities:

Submit electronic claims accurately and promptly Review, process, and follow up on insurance claims Work insurance aging reports and outstanding accounts Review and post insurance payments and EOBs Identify and resolve denied, rejected, or underpaid claims Trace unpaid claims and communicate with insurance companies Verify insurance information and benefit eligibility when needed Submit supporting documents, narratives, X-rays, and required attachments Maintain accurate patient and insurance account information Follow up on outstanding patient balances when necessary Ensure billing documentation complies with PPO and Denti-Cal requirements Communicate professionally with patients, insurance representatives, and office staff

Qualifications:

Minimum of one year of dental billing experience required Experience with PPO and Denti-Cal billing Knowledge of electronic claim submission and insurance follow-up Experience reviewing EOBs and working aging reports Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent organization and multitasking skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong verbal and written communication skills Treatment coordinator experience is a plus but not required Knowledge of Open Dental software is a plus but not required Our facilities are fully digital and provide a professional, team-oriented working environment.
