We are seeking a Medical Biller I to assist with a backlog of pharmacy and billing entries within Epic. This role involves researching flagged accounts, reviewing medical records, validating billing information, and updating records accurately. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable performing repetitive computer-based work in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Monday-Friday (6:00 AM-2:30 PM, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM, or 8:30 AM-5:00 PM)

Responsibilities:

Research and review flagged pharmacy and billing entries in Epic. Analyze medical records to validate billing information and determine appropriate actions. Process billing-related updates accurately and efficiently. Document findings and maintain data integrity. Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies. Maintain productivity while handling high-volume, detail-oriented tasks.

Qualifications:

Knowledge of medical terminology. Understanding of CPT and ICD-9 codes. Minimum 1 year of healthcare clerical experience (referrals, authorizations, medical records, etc.) and/or direct medical billing experience. Strong research, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to summarize findings clearly, both verbally and in writing.

Required:

Experience using Epic.

Highly Preferred:
