Medical Biller / Revenue Cycle Specialist Private Gastroenterology Practice Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-4:00 PM | In-Person We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Medical Biller / Revenue Cycle Specialist to join our busy private gastroenterology practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare revenue cycle management and be comfortable managing all aspects of the billing process from patient registration through collections. Responsibilities Charge entry and claim submission Insurance claim follow-up and denial management Payment posting and reconciliation Patient collections and accounts receivable follow-up Answering patient billing questions in a professional and compassionate manner Providing patient cost estimates prior to services Collecting patient payments at the time of service Ensuring accurate and timely reimbursement from payers Working collaboratively with providers, clinical staff, and management to optimize revenue cycle performance Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of medical billing and revenue cycle management experience required Experience in gastroenterology or another medical specialty practice preferred Strong knowledge of insurance verification, coding, claims processing, appeals, and collections Excellent communication and customer service skills Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Preferred Experience
