MEDICAL BILLER / HOSPITAL CHARGE ENTRY

Pulmonary & Sleep Medicine Practice - Citrus County, FL Established medical practice is seeking a detail-oriented Medical Biller to join our team. The primary responsibility of this position will be accurate and timely data entry of hospital charges for physician services.

Responsibilities include:

Entering and posting hospital charges accurately and efficiently Reviewing hospital charge information for completeness and accuracy Entering CPT, ICD-10, and other billing information as appropriate Verifying patient and insurance information Identifying and correcting discrepancies or missing information Assisting with claims preparation and submission as needed Following established billing procedures and maintaining confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA Performing other billing and administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Previous medical billing experience preferred Experience with hospital or professional-fee charge entry is a plus Knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 coding preferred Strong computer and data-entry skills Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Professional communication and organizational skills Must maintain strict patient confidentiality We are looking for someone who is dependable, organized, detail-oriented, and takes pride in accurate work

Pay:

$33,280.00 - $35,360.00 per year
