Salary range for this role is $17-$26/hr.
Job Specific Duties:
Applies the sliding fee discount to patient accounts after insurance payment or denial. Posts payments, adjustments, and denial. Review patient and payer A/R and perform the appropriate follow up to resolve the outstanding balance. Knowledge of CMS and third-party payer guidelines to appropriately bill claims. Biller 2
Requirements:
EDUCATION
Associate degree, Billing Certification or at least 2 years related experience and/or training required.
EXPERIENCE
A minimum of 2 years previous experience preferred. Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills along with strong attention to detail Practice Management Software Private, Medicare, and Medicaid Insurance CPT, ICD-9 and 10, and HCPCS coding Medical/dental Terminology.
