Medical Biller Advanced Psychiatry of Elgin Elgin, IL Job Details Part-time $22 - $24 an hour 1 day ago Benefits 401(k) Qualifications Patient service High school diploma or GED Insurance medical billing Bachelor's degree Attention to detail Full Job Description Advanced Psychiatry of Elgin is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Billing Specialist to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, solving problems, and providing excellent customer service while supporting the day-to-day billing operations. We would be looking for someone to work Monday through Friday for 4-5 hours per day.
Example:
9:00-1:00PM or 2:00-6:00PM Responsibilities Verify patient insurance benefits and eligibility Make calls to patients and insurance companies as needed Answer and respond to incoming phone calls Post insurance and patient payments accurately Assist with daily billing tasks and follow-up Research and resolve billing and insurance issues Experience/Skills Prior experience in the Medical field strongly preferred Prior experience with Billing and Insurance is preferred Strong math skills Phone Etiquette High School diploma required Bachelor's Degree preferred
Pay:
$22.00 - $24.00 per hour
