The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dental terminology, insurance verification, and coding practices. If you are detail-oriented and possess excellent organizational skills, we would love to hear from you. Responsibilities- Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits
- Process insurance claims accurately and in a timely manner
- Communicate with insurance companies to resolve any issues or discrepancies
- Maintain patient records and ensure all information is up-to-date
- Assist in coding procedures and diagnoses using ICD-10 codes
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure accurate billing and coding practices Skills
- Proficiency in ICD-10 coding and medical terminology
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and compliance
- Experience working in a medical or dental office setting
- Strong understanding of insurance verification processes
