is seeking candidates for our Medical Billing Team to assist in Charge Capture and Claims review. This position requires candidates to work in the office Monday - Friday between the hours of 8:00am and 5:00pm. Successful candidates should have medical billing and/or medical software training experience, be conscientious, reliable, detail-oriented and eager to learn. Experience working in a physician's office or insurance claims processing office is preferred. Experience working various phases of medical billing including coding, charge entry, payment posting and obtaining on status of claims. Knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 codes Knowledge of Medicare guidelines (LCD/NCD articles) Familiarity with insurance remits. RA and or Explanation of Benefits - ERA s Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc). Able to type 40+ WPM Good communication skills Knowledge of Modifiers, Global Periods and National Correct Coding guidelines a plus. Anesthesia experience a bonus Candidates must also be available to work occasional nights/evenings and weekends to meet client deadlines. Rate of pay starting at $19.00/hour based on experience.
