This is a full-time, onsite position within our billing department, offering a comprehensive benefits package .
Position Overview:
The Medical Biller will be responsible for managing the full-cycle billing process, ensuring accurate and timely submission of claims, and maximizing reimbursement for services provided.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately post charges and submit claims to insurance payers in a timely manner Process and transmit billing data to insurance providers Review, track, and resolve denied or rejected claims to ensure optimal reimbursement Conduct routine audits and reviews of billing processes Support and maintain billing programs and initiatives implemented by the practice Assist with credentialing processes as needed
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of medical billing experience, preferably in internal or primary care
Required:
Active Medical Billing Certification (e.g., CPC, CPB, or equivalent) Experience with Epic is a plus Strong proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems Knowledge of credentialing processes preferred Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment Strong multitasking skills with the ability to meet deadlines Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities Why Join Us?
