Revenue Cycle Associate

Responsibilities The Revenue Cycle Associate is responsible for completing the following tasks in a prompt, courteous, and professional manner: • Responsible for coding and processing medical claims Resolve patient inquiries regarding their statements Review remittance for outstanding claims and route to appropriate system Manage denials that are deemed they should be appealed Requisition refunds for patients Monitor the billing and assist in processing A/P Reconcile POs, invoices, statements, and prepare them for payment Maintains patient confidentiality and performs position responsibilities in an ethical and professional manner Collaborates with patients, significant others, physicians and other ancillary departments to become a multidisciplinary health care team whose goal is to provide care that is continuous and well-coordinated Minimum Requirements Knowledge of medical terminology, medical insurance, and medical practice services and routines. Medical Billing Experience Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills Experience in in CPT/ICD coding Additional Information To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
