PM Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Hospital Care Investigator / Medical Biller to support the Patient Accounts and Revenue Cycle team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with medical billing, claims processing, insurance follow-up, denials, and patient account management.

Responsibilities:

Process paper and electronic medical claims Review patient accounts and correct billing errors Process claim rejections and denials Follow up on outstanding patient and insurance balances Audit patient accounts for accuracy Apply account adjustments as needed Process pre-authorizations and document responses Prepare and process patient statements Enter and maintain patient information in billing systems Generate patient and insurance aging reports Arrange payment schedules with patients Provide billing-related customer service Document all account and patient interactions accurately Escalate complex accounts to the appropriate supervisor Work with other departments to resolve billing issues Attend required training sessions Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Strong medical billing and revenue cycle experience Experience with paper and electronic claims processing Experience handling billing edits, rejections, and denials Experience with patient account management Strong computer and database skills Excellent documentation and communication skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts

Pay:

From $28.00 per hour
