This role offers an exciting opportunity to combine accurate home care/hospice billing and accurate medical coding skills with vital office responsibilities, supporting healthcare providers in delivering exceptional patient care. You will be responsible for translating medical records into precise codes, managing billing processes, and maintaining organized medical documentation—all while contributing to a professional and efficient office environment. Responsibilities Manage medical billing processes, including submission of claims and follow-up on unpaid accounts Accurately assign Diagnosis-Related Group (DRG), Current Procedural Terminology (CPT), and International Classification of Diseases (ICD-9, ICD-10) codes to patient records for billing and insurance purposes Review and interpret medical records, ensuring coding aligns with medical terminology and documentation standards Perform medical collection activities to recover outstanding balances while maintaining positive patient relationships Utilize Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems to update, organize, and retrieve patient information efficiently Support office administrative tasks such as scheduling, data entry, correspondence, and filing to ensure smooth daily operations Requirements Proven experience in medical billing and coding for Home Health Care and Hospice, including proficiency with

DRG, CPT
