Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Biller to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of medical billing processes and coding, ensuring accurate and timely submission of claims. Medical Biller will also need appropriate certification required for this position. Responsibilities
- Utilize knowledge of medical terminology and coding systems to process medical bills accurately
- Submit claims to insurance companies electronically or by paper
- Follow up on unpaid claims and denials with insurance companies
- Communicate with healthcare providers to clarify billing information
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all healthcare regulations Experience
- Proven experience in medical billing and collections
- Proficiency in medical coding procedures and guidelines
- Familiarity with medical office operations and billing software systems
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Excellent communication skills to interact with patients, insurance companies, and healthcare providers
