As our practice continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced Medical Biller to support our clinical team and ensure the financial health of our operations. Position Summary:

The Medical Biller will be responsible for managing the full billing cycle, including accurate claim submission, timely follow-up on outstanding accounts, and effective communication with payers and patients.

Key Responsibilities:

Submit clean claims to insurance companies, including Medicaid and commercial payers Review and correct billing or submission errors, ensuring compliance with payer requirements and HIPAA regulations Track and follow up on unpaid claims, denials, and appeals in a timely manner Post payments, adjustments, and manage patient statements and account balances Communicate professionally with patients regarding billing inquiries and insurance coverage Maintain up-to-date knowledge of mental health CPT codes, including psychotherapy, diagnostic evaluations, and telehealth modifiers Generate regular reports on accounts receivable, collections, and revenue trends

Qualifications:

Medical billing experience Proficiency in billing systems and EHR platforms (e.g., SimplePractice, TherapyNotes, Kareo, AdvancedMD, or similar) Understanding of telehealth billing and relevant payer-specific requirements Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently
