Position Details:

Qualifications:

AAPC Certification:

Job Description:
Medical biller responsibilities will include any of the following: Review medical claims for accuracy according to CPT, ICD-10 and payer guidelines Submit clean medical claims electronically and on paper Work with medical offices to resolve documentation errors/missing information Sort and post incoming patient and insurance payments to accounts Create and bill patient responsibility statements Review monthly A/R reports for missing payments, missed denials and follow up. Correspond with all types of insurance carriers Answer incoming phone calls from patients and/or medical offices Must have: Prior medical billing and or coding experience Knowledge of insurance billing including PPO, HMO, Capitation, Worker's Comp and Government insurance including Medicare, Tricare and Veterans. Data entry with high level of accuracy Ability to multitask. Ability to work independently to accomplish daily, weekly and monthly deadlines.
