Job Summary Join our dynamic Chiropractic Injury Clinic as a Medical Biller specializing in Personal Injury (PI) and motor vehicle collision claims. In this energetic role, you will be the vital link ensuring accurate and efficient billing processes, managing healthcare claims, and facilitating smooth communication between patients, insurance companies, and healthcare providers. Duties Prepare, review, and submit accurate insurance claims for PI/motor vehicle collision cases using billing software and EMR/EHR (ChiroTouch) Ensure proper coding using CPT (Current Procedural Terminology), ICD-9, ICD-10, DRG (Diagnosis-Related Group), and ICD coding standards to facilitate correct reimbursements Follow up on unpaid or denied claims through effective collections strategies and healthcare claims management techniques Communicate professionally with insurance companies, patients, and attorneys to resolve billing discrepancies or inquiries Stay current with health insurance policies, medical coding updates, and regulatory compliance requirements Generate reports on billing activities, outstanding accounts receivable & aging, collection efforts to support clinic financial goals Attorney/Lien/LOP accounts Proven experience in medical billing within a healthcare setting, preferably in chiropractic injury clinics or PI/motor vehicle collision cases Strong knowledge of medical coding including
