The position assists with courtroom proceedings, processes and maintains legal documents and case records, and performs duties in accordance with applicable statutes, court rules, and established procedures. This role requires accuracy, organization, confidentiality, and professionalism in a fast-paced court environment. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge of general office practices, court procedures, records management, and legal document processing. Ability to read, interpret, process, and accurately maintain court orders, pleadings, warrants, case files, and other legal records. Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize assignments, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy despite frequent interruptions. Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work professionally with judges, attorneys, law enforcement, court personnel, and the public. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent, supplemented by specialized education or on-the-job education in a clerical, administrative, data-processing, or related field. Twelve months of related work experience and/or training. An equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities may be considered.
