Capacity Sports Group is looking for an Assistant Grounds Superintendent for Championship Park and the Kokomo Municipal Stadium in Kokomo, IN. The complex has 8 artificially turfed fields, four full sized and four junior fields. The Municipal Stadium is an artificial field and seats 4,000. It is home to the Kokomo Creek Chubs, who just completed their debut season, as well as plays host to a score of miscellaneous events. The Assistant Superintendent works closely with the Superintendent to operate and maintain both complexes to high standards of safety, cleanliness, and upkeep. Along with the Superintendent, the Assistant Superintendent is responsible for the overall upkeep and maintenance of the playing surfaces and related facilities; common areas and landscaping, building maintenance and custodial, parking lots, seasonal staff hiring, training, supervision and scheduling. Applicants should enjoy working in a fast paced, rapidly changing outdoor environment in a variety of weather conditions, and possess a high level of drive and internal motivation. Expected tasks include; Training and scheduling of seasonal staff Mowing, trimming and landscape maintenance of common areas Fence repairs Deep cleaning of restrooms, dugouts, field perimeter and common areas Maintenance of buildings interiors and exteriors Other duties as assigned Game day and tournament activity includes; Field and dugouts maintenance and cleaning between games Trash management Clean and stock restrooms Keeping common areas clean and safe Must be able to work late nights, early mornings, weekends and holidays. CSFM designation is preferred but not required. A degree or certificate in a horticulture related field is helpful but not required. Pay:

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
