Work Location Lexington, KY Grade Level 08 Salary Range $19.00-30.09/hour Type of Position Staff Position Time Status Full-Time Required Education HS Click here for more information about equivalencies: https://hr.uky.edu/employment/working-uk/equivalencies Required Related Experience 2 yrs Required License/Registration/Certification Certified Fitter Orthotics (CFo), Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) or Athletic Training within 6 months of hire Physical Requirements The ability to lift, carry, push objects weighing up to or over 50 pounds, kneel and bend, stand, walk, sit, talk, see and hear. The conditions may involve loud noises, cuts/punctures, blood borne pathogens, risk of injury from moving/lifting. Requires manual dexterity and driving in all conditions. Shift Typical shift is Monday thru Friday day shifts (40 hrs/wk) Shifts, location, and days of week may vary depending on needs of the department. Job Summary This position combines responsibilities of a Certified Orthotic Fitter, inventory specialist, and billing. The employee will provide exceptional customer service and clinic support while also evaluating, fitting, and modifying orthotic equipment for patients. The role ensures proper fit, comfort, and functional use of orthotic equipment to prevent complications and support patient care. This role also is critical in assuring compliance in billing, and collection of payments for these products. Certified Fitter Orthotics (CFo), Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) or Athletic Training within 6 months of hire.

No Preferred Education/Experience Previous Orthotic Fitter, DME inventory management, DME billing experience preferred.
