Job Description
Establishment
- Court Support Jefferson County Attorney's Office Child Support Division
- 3.
- Schedules cases for Court, making departmental deliveries,
- Works closely with Satellite Office and Court Clerks to obtain court dates
- Provides support to attorneys for cases scheduled for Court
- Updates and maintains information in KASES child support system
- Scansincoming paperwork and indexes scanned files in accordance with office policy
- Requests and Schedules Interpreters for customers with language barriers
- Requires regular attendance
- Performs other duties as assigned including but not limited to delivering documents received from the satellite office via court runner to the appropriate case worker Minimum Requirements
KNOWLEDGE
Basic knowledge of child support program and the local court system required. Computer experience is preferred.SKILLS/ABILITIES
Must be a mature individual with initiative, drive and the ability to work in a team environment. Must be conscientious and detail oriented with excellent organizational skills.EDUCATION
High school graduate or its equivalent.EXPERIENCE
Stable work history may be substituted for knowledge requirements.TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS AND/OR PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This position is located in the Jefferson County Attorney's Office, Child Support Division, 1930 Bishop Ln, Ste 100, Louisville, KY 40218. Work is performed in an office setting. Office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Daily use of computers and scanners. Mobility within the office, including movement from floor to floor and personal interaction with employees in the office and attorneys.Salary:
$18.00 per hour/$37,440.00 per year ( Funding is in whole or in part from federal, DCSS, or other state funds)Job Type:
