We also promote a healthy work-life balance. The Butler Circuit Court Clerk's Office has an immediate opening for a Deputy Clerk. The Deputy Clerk is responsible for assisting Circuit Court Clerk in performance of constitutional duties. Due to the nature of job duties and responsibilities, this position is not authorized for virtual work. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Entry of accurate data into court of justice case management system. File and retrieve legal documents and court records. Notify counsel of record, parties as necessary. Assist public concerning the status of court cases. Attend court and serve as a bench clerk. Ability to exercise judgment and discretion. Ability to understand and follow instructions. Ability to concentrate. Ability to multitask and work with others on common tasks. Skill in the use basic of computers, software, and other office equipment. Skill in exercising tact and diplomacy. Skill in oral and written communication. Collect fines and fees as necessary. Perform other clerical duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements

High School Degree with 2 years of job-related experience.

(AGE, LICENSURE, REGULATION, ETC.): High School graduate or GED - proof of education required Working Conditions The work at times requires bending, squatting, reaching, with the ability to lift, carry, push, or pull weights up to 20 pounds.
