Housing Manager
Job Description
We are looking for the right candidate to join out team as Housing Manager to perform admissions and occupancy functions. Our organization offers a four day work week (Monday-Thursday) plus an excellent benefit package including health, dental, vision, life, disability insurance, and retirement. This job will require you to also manage two small sites located in Beulaville and Magnolia, NC. Responsibilities Performs annual re-examinations for public housing tenants Supervises Maintenance personnel Meets with tenant to verify information and continuing eligibility in the program Accompanies tenant for the move-in inspection to ensure unit is properly prepared and ready to move-in Meets with tenants to discuss matters regarding occupancy, late payments, or occupancy problems as well as administers grievance procedure Compiles data and determines new annual rent amount and notifies tenant of new account. Conducts annual and periodic housekeeping inspections and submits work orders as needed Investigates and develops data in conjunction with lease violations; prepares eviction procedure notices; and participates in eviction court proceedings. Handles resident complaints and administers resident grievance procedure. Sets up resident files and maintains required file documentation Maintains tenant accounts using automated system including delinquent accounts, tenant charges, fees, and installment payments Reviews and processes applications including criminal and reference checks Conducts move-in progress, including lease execution Responsible for rent collection process Must pass a preemployment drug screening
