Large multi-specialty group practice looking for a part-time hygiene assistant to join our practice. Dental radiology license is a must , and RDA/CDA is preferred, but not required. As an accelerated hygiene assistant you will be one on one with the hygienist facilitating review of medical history, taking vitals, taking radiographs , handling sterilization duties, and assisting during exams. The perfect candidate should be comfortable with a fast paced environment and proficient in dental radiology.

Duties include:

• Assisting the dental hygienists
• Take x-rays on hygiene patients, as well as for other providers as needed. (BWS/Pans/Ceph/CBCT)
• taking and recording vitals
• iTero scans
• Help clean rooms
• Instrument sterilization
• Set up and stock rooms
• Help monitor hygiene product inventory
• Assist hygienist with patient charting
• Assist the hygienist during preventative procedures (sealants, etc.)
• Bring in patients
• Schedule appointments
• Assist doctor during exams
