Job Description
Summary The OR Team Assistant will perform various patient care activities and related services under the direction of the professional staff. Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities High School Graduate or GED equivalent Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Computer skills preferred. Multi-focal ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced, high-stress area Excellent customer service skills Required Length and Type of Experience One (1) year related experience working in the healthcare field Required Licensure and Certification BLS certified Required Physical and Environmental Demands This job requires the ability to walk 6 to 8 miles in an 8-hour shift. Able to lift or carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Also requires individual to be able to work under periods of high stress and in a consistently fast-paced environment. Exposure to communicable disease and/or body fluids.
