Job Description
LEAD DEPUTY COURT CLERK CIRCUIT COURT
Kenosha County Circuit Court is accepting internal applications for a Lead Deputy Court Clerk- "Family Unit".
Hiring Range:
$25.65- $29.
Success Factors Knowledge of:
Legal terminology and court procedures CCAP database Court related financial duties Court recordkeeping policies Ability to: Perform a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another Handle multiple procedural processes simultaneously Provide quality customer service Type accurately and efficiently Follow schedules and deadlines Follow oral and written instructions Maintain confidential information regarding court records and proceedings, as well as personal identifying information Operate a variety of office equipment including a computer, calculator, scanner, telephone, and fax machine Be professional and courteous Work respectfully in a diverse and inclusive environment Write clear and concise training materials and draft documents Evaluate court record case management processes Exercise critical thinking and problem solving techniques with effective time management and prioritization Efficiently use the CCAP database, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook Understand and apply Kenosha County Circuit Court rules and court procedures Effectively use legal terminology and understand legal documents Adhere to strict confidential guidelines Thrive in a fast-paced environment Skill in: Customer service Organization and record keeping Following oral and written instructions Job Requirements, Education, Training and Experience High school diploma or GED equivalent Post-secondary education relative to office or clerical skills Minimum two years of experience in Circuit Court Family Unit Or any combination of education, training, and experience which provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the job Other Job Requirements Ability to become and maintain a Notary Public in Wisconsin Ability to work overtime as required Professional attire and demeanor Benefits Health, dental and vision insurance effective first of month following 30 days of employment with the ability to reduce premium contribution through participation in a wellness programFlexible Spending Accounts Employee Assistance Program Paid Time Off Paid Volunteer Time Twelve Paid Holidays Retirement Plan:
