As a Court Clerk I, you'll work behind the scenes—and in the courtroom—to help keep court proceedings and cases moving forward. Duties include but are not limited to: Process, scan, index, and maintain official court records using CCAP. Open new cases and accurately update case and financial information. Attend court hearings, record minutes, administer oaths, mark exhibits, and assist with courtroom technology. Prepare and distribute court notices, orders, and other required documents. Schedule hearings, interpreters, and other court-related activities. Assist with jury management and respond to juror questions. Help attorneys, self-represented litigants, and members of the public navigate court procedures within established guidelines. Work alongside judges, attorneys, justice partners, and fellow court professionals to keep daily court operations running smoothly. What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent required; an Associate's degree in Office Administration, Business, or a related field is preferred. Two years of clerical, administrative, customer service, or office experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Excellent organization and time-management skills. Strong communication and customer-service skills. Ability to learn court procedures, technology, and CCAP. Ability to remain professional and composed in a busy environment and during challenging interactions. Commitment to confidentiality, professionalism, and public service.
