Job Description

We are currently seeking a Business Office Manager to join our team of dedicated professionals who want to make a difference in the lives of our residents, their families and our community. We are guided by our

About the Opportunity Provides clerical and administrative support to the department leaders and Executive Director; organizes and maintains resident and staff files; tracks resident charges and performs billing function; performs payroll-related functions and assists with benefits administration; maintains a professional business office to facilitate smooth community operation and solves office work-flow problems. Serves as the central point of contact for all job applicants at the community. Conducts various forms of pre-employment assessments, post-employment exit interview, and other employee onboarding tasks. Other relevant duties as may be assigned by the Executive Director or designee. Critical Success Factors Superior communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate in English, both orally and in writing and comprehend same. Resilient, dependable and punctual, with a professional demeanor. Ability to successfully self-manage time and work priorities and provide timely, accurate reporting to the appropriate people. Must be adaptable and flexible in response to resident and staff needs. Willingness to collaborate with others and work as part of a team. Must possess strong organization and multi-tasking capabilities. Compassionate, empathetic, and a careful listener. Exhibits positive customer service that includes respectfulness, friendliness and willingness to assist Minimum Qualifications Minimum of a High School diploma or GED required; Associates Degree in Business Management preferred. Prior office and payroll experience preferred. Experience with interviewing, training, supervising and evaluating office staff preferred Experience with using various types of office equipment, computer operating systems, word processing programs, spreadsheets and e- mail preferred.
