Job Description

Overview Grizzly Construction, Inc. is an established construction company based in Clovis, California, serving the Central Valley since 2002. We specialize in general engineering and heavy civil construction, mainly underground wet utilities projects. For more than 20 years, Grizzly Construction has built a strong presence in the local construction industry through quality workmanship, experienced crews, and a commitment to completing projects safely and efficiently. Our team works together to deliver quality projects while maintaining a strong focus on safety, professionalism, and getting the job done right. Responsibilities Handle day-to-day office administration and administrative support. Manage phone calls, emails, and visitor inquiries; order office supplies; and maintain organized digital and physical filing systems Maintain project records and ensure required documents are filed Maintain & organize employees, vendors and company records. Enter Accounts Payable invoices into the company's accounting system. Communicate with vendors regarding invoices, statements, and payment questions. Maintain vendor records and documentation Maintain organized AP records Assist bookkeeper with weekly payroll processing Assist with business license and vehicle/DMV renewal documentation. Monitor important deadlines and follow up with the appropriate team members. Handle confidential company information professionally. Qualifications Minimum of 1-3 years' previous experience in Construction Office Settings Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Strong written and verbal communication skills for interacting with field crews, vendors, and clients High attention to detail, strong multi-tasking abilities, and the capacity to work independently with minimal supervision Experience with Sage 100 Contractor or similar construction accounting software is a plus. Experience with prevailing wage, certified payroll, or public works documentation is a plus.
