Job Description
Company overview: We are one of the few prosthetic companies in the Sacramento metro area. We opened in 2016 and have been expanding ever since. We service patients from as far south as Manteca, CA up to Chico CA. We provide a wide array of prosthetic devices from artificial limbs to mastectomy supplies. Our administrative staff are the first point of contact for our patients and their role in our company is pivotal. We are looking to expand our administrative staff in order to provide a more unique experience of care to our patients. An ideal candidate would be someone who feels they have potential to excel in a fast-paced front office environment. Someone who is willing to learn tasks and help in every aspect of our company. An individual who feels as strongly as we do that open communication is they key to a successful work team. Our hours of operation are Monday thru Friday 8am - 5pm with lunch from 12pm-1pm, closed on weekends. We are looking to fulfill a full-time (8hr shift) role.
Job duties include:
- Answering phone calls and directing them to individuals, as needed
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments
- Dispensing and obtaining patient paperwork
- Insurance verification and subsequent authorization
- Follow through with patient follow up
- Greet patients and visitors
- Room patients as they arrive for their scheduled appointments.
Minimum education required:
- High school diploma/G.
