Job Description

Description We are looking for a highly organized Office Manager to support day-to-day administrative operations for a detail-oriented office in Los Angeles, California. This is a Contract position suited for someone who can keep office activities running smoothly, provide responsive support to staff, and maintain a welcoming and efficient workplace. The ideal candidate brings strong judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Direct reception and general office activities to ensure daily operations run efficiently and effectively.
  • Monitor office supply levels, place orders when needed, and maintain organized storage areas for easy access.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail, including certified deliveries, and arrange courier shipments such as overnight packages.
  • Keep shared spaces, including the kitchen and common areas, orderly, stocked, and ready for staff use.
  • Provide hands-on administrative assistance through document copying, scanning, record maintenance, and general clerical support.
  • Help organize employee meals, birthday gatherings, and other office events to support a positive workplace experience.
  • Partner with internal leadership to address office needs, respond to operational requests, and assist with special projects.
  • Offer support for basic technology-related coordination and help facilitate follow-up on office equipment or staff requests. Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or comparable relevant background, or 4-7 years of experience in an administrative support role within an office environment.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook and Excel, with advanced capability in Word and experience using Adobe Acrobat.
  • Familiarity with modern office tools and platforms, including password management applications and secure file-sharing solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities, shift focus quickly, and remain effective in a changing work environment.
  • Sound judgment and strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to make practical decisions using available information.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while proactively identifying next steps.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively across all levels of an organization.
  • Ability to work respectfully and effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and contribute to an inclusive office culture.
