Office Manager - ALTO Foot & Ankle Mission Viejo, CA | Full-Time | Monday-Friday | No Weekends Help Build Something Special ALTO Foot & Ankle is a new, modern podiatry practice opening in Mission Viejo. We are looking for an exceptional Office Manager who wants more than just another healthcare job. This is an opportunity to help build a practice from the ground up alongside a board-certified foot and ankle surgeon who is committed to providing outstanding patient care and creating an exceptional workplace. What You'll Do As the Office Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the practice while ensuring patients receive exceptional service from their first phone call through follow-up care.
Responsibilities include:
Oversee daily office operations and workflow Manage patient scheduling and coordinate provider appointments Answer phones and respond to patient inquiries professionally Verify insurance benefits and obtain prior authorizations as needed Coordinate referrals and communicate with outside providers Manage front office staff and assist with hiring and training as the practice grows Maintain EMR accuracy and ensure efficient documentation workflows Handle patient collections, payments, and financial discussions Monitor office supplies, vendor relationships, and inventory Improve office systems and identify opportunities for greater efficiency Help create a welcoming, organized, and positive patient experience Assist with marketing initiatives and community outreach when needed What We're Looking For Previous medical office management experience preferred Strong leadership and organizational skills Excellent communication and customer service abilities Comfortable working independently and taking initiative Experience with medical scheduling and insurance verification Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Positive attitude with strong attention to detail EMR experience preferred Podiatry or orthopedic experience is a plus but not required Why Join ALTO Foot & Ankle?
