Monday-Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm Job Summary Ready to build something bigger? Colorado West Construction is seeking a highly organized Office Administrator to support the daily operations of our office. This role serves as the first point of contact for visitors, vendors, employees, and customers while providing administrative, project, and operational support that keeps the office running efficiently. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, customer-focused, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment. The Role As the Office Administrator, you'll provide front office reception, administrative support, vendor coordination, project support, and office organization. You'll work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, Accounting, and leadership to ensure daily operations run smoothly. What You'll Do Answer and direct incoming phone calls while greeting visitors professionally. Manage incoming/outgoing mail, FedEx, UPS, USPS shipments, and office deliveries. Maintain office supplies, plotter paper, postage supplies, and general office organization. Maintain office records, calendars, scheduling, and administrative documentation. Schedule equipment mobilization/demobilization including dumpsters, fencing, forklifts, storage containers, portable toilets, and office trailers. Assist Superintendents and Project Managers with Home Depot orders and project support. Assist with booking and coordinating employee travel to support project and business needs. Coordinate employee events, birthdays, office decorations, and morale activities. Identify opportunities to improve office procedures and support compliance with company policies.
What You'll Bring Required:
2+ years of administrative, office, or receptionist experience. Strong organizational and multitasking skills with excellent attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Professional customer service skills and ability to work with vendors, customers, and employees. Ability to work independently while supporting multiple departments. High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred:
Commercial construction office experience. Experience supporting Project Managers or field operations.
