We're known for reliable service, long-standing customer relationships, and a practical, hands-on approach to running our business. Position Overview We're looking for a highly organized and dependable Office Manager to support the day-to-day administrative, financial, and operational functions of our business. This role includes a mix of bookkeeping, customer communication, administrative support, and office coordination. You'll play a key role in keeping daily operations running smoothly. Key Responsibilities Financials & Bookkeeping Manage accounts payable and receivable Record transactions and maintain accurate financial records (primarily in QuickBooks) Reconcile and balance checking accounts Process deposits and vendor payments Track and follow up on outstanding invoices Administrative Support & Office Management Provide general administrative support to daily operations Coordinate with local agencies and utilities (cities, counties, SMUD, PG&E, etc.) Respond to customer inquiries Maintain organized office systems, files, and documentation Handle banking and payroll tasks Project & Inventory Coordination Assistance with preparing estimates and invoices Support job tracking and internal coordination Required Skills & Experience Experience in office management, bookkeeping, or administrative operations Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail Clear and professional communication skills Customer service experience and a responsive, solution-oriented approach Comfort working in a small business environment Preferred (Nice-to-Have) Experience in construction, electrical, or trade-based businesses Familiarity with invoicing, estimates, or project coordination Experience working with local agencies or utilities Understanding of basic bookkeeping principles (AP/AR, reconciliation) Why work with us?
