Job description About us Santa Barbara Designs has been building luxury shade umbrellas in Southern California since 1981. Every umbrella we ship is bench made and hand-finished in our Oxnard shop by a team of metal fitters, woodworkers, seamstresses, and finishers. Our umbrellas go to high-end residential projects, resorts, and interior designers across the country. We are a team of 20, small enough that your work is visible and your questions get answered the same day you ask them. What you will do Answer incoming calls and emails from designers, dealers, and homeowners Working with customers directly in determining required parts needed for damaged umbrellas. Then preparing and forwarding quotes to clients for said parts. Processing of orders upon receipt Work with our production floor on lead times, specifications, and change orders Prepare quotes and order acknowledgments Maintain our sampling library and provide clients with samples as requested Maintain customer records, freight paperwork, and vendor correspondence Provide general office support as the day requires What we are looking for Two or more years in customer service, order entry, or office administration. Experience in manufacturing or the design trade is a plus. Comfortable on the phone and clear in writing Strong attention to detail. Our orders are custom, and specifications matter. Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and order entry or Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software Bilingual English and Spanish is a plus Able to work on site in Oxnard, California You will be an integral part of a world renowned design company, the leader in our field. You will be given the opportunity to learn many detailed aspects of the design industry, joining with many of our Team members who have been with us since the company's inception in 1981.

From $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
