The Stock Office Administrator at Amphastar Pharmaceuticals Inc (AMPH) in Rancho Cucamonga, CA, will analyze and propose appropriate ways and amounts to compensate employees with stock options and other financial tools. Strategically manage and maintain all equity related matters and the stock program, utilizing the stock option management software. Utilize professional financial tools and accounting methods to conduct stock related financial analysis, prepare complex stock compensation strategies, and advise on equity awards for new hires, promotions, and related requests. Analyze and advise the composition and proportion of qualified equity options for each chosen employee's award package according to relevant regulations and company policy. Prepare various complex financial spreadsheets and stock programs for stock certificates and stock option portfolio. Prepare complex financial spreadsheet to precisely calculate and administer any stock activities, including the grants, exercises, termination, and cancellations of any equity award. Perform monthly, quarterly and yearly reconciliation of records between HR, Payroll, Finance and Legal. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly stock watches as well as yearly reporting inclusive of information need for Form 4s, 13G, D&O Questionnaires, Proxy plus 10k filings. Serve as primary personnel responsible for matters related to company stock options, maintain and process due diligence updates pertaining to dividends outstanding and unclaimed property preparation, and ensure compliance with state, federal and foreign regulations, and securities laws. Responsible for stock related management, manage the process for all aspects of the company's stock-based compensation plans including options and Restricted Stocks Units (RSU), utilizing the stock option management software. Update and maintain an annual tax reporting of stock transactions spreadsheet for consultants & advisory board members for Forms 1099.Minimum Requirements:
Requires a Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Health Services Management, or related field and 3 years of experience as a Stock Office Administrator, Business Manager, Project Manager, or related occupation. Must include 3 years of financial project experience in the healthcare industry. Must include 3 years of experience with: (1) utilizing professional financial tools and accounting methods to conduct related financial analysis; (2) reading, analyzing, and interpreting financial data and reports; and (3) performing monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliation of records between HR, Payroll, Finance, and Legal departments.
