• 42/hr DOE Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and highly organized Business Office Manager to oversee administrative and financial operations within a long-term care facility.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a comprehensive understanding of healthcare administration. As the Business Office Manager, you will ensure smooth financial management, billing processes, and compliance with regulatory standards, contributing to the overall efficiency and quality of resident care. Responsibilities Manage all aspects of billing, accounts receivable, and accounts payable to ensure accurate and timely processing. Oversee resident financial documentation, including admissions, discharges, and payment plans. Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure proper documentation and compliance with healthcare regulations. Supervise administrative staff, providing training, support, and performance evaluations. Maintain accurate financial records in accordance with federal and state regulations. Develop and implement policies related to billing procedures, collections, and financial reporting. Collaborate with management team to optimize operational workflows and improve resident satisfaction. Ensure confidentiality of resident information while adhering to privacy laws such as HIPAA. Requirements Proven experience in healthcare administration or business office management within a long-term care or similar healthcare setting. Strong understanding of billing systems, insurance processes, and regulatory compliance requirements. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience supervising administrative teams. Proficiency in financial software applications and Microsoft Office Suite. Exceptional communication skills for interacting with residents, families, staff, and external agencies. Knowledge of healthcare laws and regulations relevant to long-term care facilities is preferred. Ability to maintain professionalism and uphold high ethical standards in all aspects of work.
